I’m thinking in 2008 The Black Keys did more shows than in any other year. Pat from The Black Keys told me in an interview I did with him for this website he reckons it was at least 75 shows.
This year I thought I’d keep this page updated with all 2009 tour dates so as to do a count up at years end.
No doubt 2009 will be much less than 2008 since there’s not an album to support immediately and there are Dan’s solo shows to accommodate.

The Black Keys have the best live show – period! The BK’s are just as ‘tight’ live as they are on their CD’s. A lot of music comes out of that duo! Absolutely amazing! All musicians and ‘wannabes’ take notice. Last seen in Louisville, KY. I just read a glowing article in Rolling Stone magazine. I wonder what took them so long. I’m a 51y/o ‘geeser’ and have more music savvy than that rag!
