No sooner was I praising the virtues of The Black Keys in black and white, than these cool new black and white videos of The Black Keys turn up.
Even better that they are of the ‘Keys recent return to the stage at the Glasshouse, Pomona CA, USA, show on 16 April 2009, the night before the Coachella performance.
Even better than that is the fact the sound and video quality are excellent. Respect BatCountryX.
From the looks of it The Black Keys have lost nothing while Dan has been touring his solo album.

I was there and they was Amazing!!
I was at that show and the whole night kicked ass, but “busted” had to be my favorite song they played. He was playing it one handed and he was getting ugly with his guitar. I love the black keys and I wish they would play on the west coast more often.
@Devin Yeah, at the 2min50sec mark or so he fully tears it up on Busted. Awesome how that track just builds up and explodes.

I don’t know if anyone agrees with me, but I think Dan is one of the best guitar players I have ever seen. He is up there with Jimmy, Clapton, Page, and other legends. All though their albums are incredible, they don’t fully do them justice. If you haven’t seen TBK live you haven’t undergone the true Black Keys experience. They play on another level when you see them live. I have been honored to see TBK live a few times and caught Dan’s solo outing at the El Rey…he is my guitar idol. TBK fo’ life!
