I'm assuming this was written for his fiancee. I don't think any two people hear the same music the same way. Music is largely emotional, from my point of view, and is subjective to the listener's experience. I don't know about anybody else but those "If you like X, you'll love Y" ploys hardly ever work for me. How is everyone? On to business: It took a few spins before it sank in but I dig this album. As of now, I do think I like the last album (and the previous ones) better (as of now) but each album has required full attention and multiple listens. But i agree with mirby about needing a little more "punch" on the guitar sounds. i could see Dan guest shreddng on Rising Tide during the fuzzed out part in the middle, but this song is the shit for sure. All the others are growing on me with each listen...good stuff.
