This is my favorite "interview" of theirs. It's long, and it's more of a journal/interview. Very cool. From back in 2003.

My favorite article on them as well, you really feel like you know the guys by the end of it. Lots of cool anecdotes like Pat toking and being blown away by Janet Weiss's drumming, the boys listening to Led Zeppelin II on the road, and it's really neat that it's so early on in their career. You feel like you're on the road with them discovering great things. Very good read!

Wow that was an awesome read. I wonder if that soccer ball is still on the roof of that venue

the part about ralph carney playing makes me second guess my opposition to them adding more musicians

I saw Dan play a couple shows with a bunch of other musicians on stage... those shows fucking ruled.

I fuckin love this "piece" and read it every couple weeks/month, whenever I get bored and have time to kill. I also love the article that Brucini/doorman links at the end. Anyways, figured that if there were any new members or perhaps new "lurkers", they might wanna read this. I suppose the article linked by The doorman at the end also correlates with the tour cancellations(which were previously mentioned in a different topic), somewhat, what, what.
