Ingredients
50.7 ounce jug of Martinelli’s unfiltered Apple Juice http://martinellis.com/products/juices/
50.7 ounce jug of Martinelli’s Apple Cider
1 cup of Sugar in the Raw http://www.sugarintheraw.com/
4 whole cinnamon sticks
750ml bottle of Everclear grain alcohol (151 proof variety)

1. Pour the apple juice and cider into a stock pot with the sugar and cinnamon sticks. Be sure to shake the unfiltered apple juice well before pouring.
2. Simmer for approximately 90 minutes, stirring occasionally. What you’re doing here is reducing the volume by at least 750ml so that later on, once it’s cool, you can add the booze and still fit it all back into the empty apple juice bottles. My stock pot has measurement markings on the inside so I was able to tell how much volume had boiled off.
3. Let the mixture cool completely, and THEN add the entire 750ml bottle of Everclear. Stir it up well.
4. Carefully pour it all back into the apple juice/cider bottles and be sure to include and evenly distribute the 4 cinnamon sticks.
5. Let it sit in the fridge for at least a day to mellow out. When the booze is first added, it tastes very “boozey” but after a day in the fridge the flavors blend and it’s much more mellow and delicious.
6. ENJOY! This recipe is for Apple Pie shots, and it is potent. It’ll put a burn in your belly, but tastes very good like apples and cinnamon, not like booze. It’s a perfect Winter warmer, but please drink responsibly.
