I see the most recent cover by the Arctic Monkeys might have been influenced by them going on tour with The Black Keys this year.
Anyone else notice the comparison? To date: I've been a fan since early 2002 and I have attended 20 of their concerts and 2 of Dan's solo. I have also met Patrick quite a few times, but never Dan unfortunately. The Black Keys are a part of my soul. Posted 3 months ago #

it is disappointing that the arctic monkeys are touring with them i have disliked a lot of their opening acts youd think it would be a more blueslike band but then again the black keys are claiming to not be into blues anymore and from what i can read between the lines here and there they also apparently are not fans of led zeppelin that is hard to believe or maybe its not i cant tell anymore if i ever could tell who knows any musician really we all think we do because were into the music and we get the song or the album but that doesnt mean we get the artist or even know them at all maybe all this stuff lately that seems so unlike the black keys is actually perfectly like the black keys maybe were all just realizing that we didnt know the artists only an album or a song it is what it is isnt it? @dusty I very much second that. I'd be much more compelled to pay these ticket prices if they took Band of Skulls with them to the states. Though I enjoy the Arctic Monkeys, Skulls just seem like a much better fit. Very cool album art though. Posted 3 months ago #
