It is what it is. I thought it was rather safe. I mean they nailed it, no doubt, but I really didn't think they'd play "Tighten Up" AGAIN on prime time TV. Although that being said, I bet they were told by the higher ups that they should push this single. I suppose to them (music label) they think that this is the most radio friendly/commercial tune. And if that is the case, that kinda sucks. The album is full of great track. Just goes to show the new labels presence in their band. Posted 1 year ago #

Mirbs - Agreed!! I'd pay to see that shit. Especially since that kit was probably not even Pat's anyways. It's like on Letterman when Dave asked Pat "nice drums, those yours?", and Pat's says "No". They should of went all ape shit on set and trashed everything, that'd get some press. Although I'd hope Dan would put the axe down first, I'd hate to see anything happen to that Supro!! Anyway, i thought the performance was ok, but the look is definatley going cleaner for the high profile gigs like last night. I think it's safe to say Brothers is going to be milked into spring of next near with "Sinister Kid" and others to be released as singles every few monthes. And we will no doubt be seeing the boys hit the late nite circuit through winter, which i will be the first to say they will be on SNL before next season is out. 3 days till Nautica!
