Mmm... I dont like the interviewer, why the hell didnt she asked about more interesting stuff? Like what inspired them to make the new album, how did the Rolling Stones or Creedence influenced them while recording? or, what equipment was used? I dont know I really really wish the interviewers were experienced musicians or at the very least very good listeners of The Black Keys music. Such a pity to waste an interview like that. It's gonna be loud, are you ready? -Dan Posted 7 months ago #

i know what you mean, but these little festival interviews are never more than a quick superficial question/answer thing rather than an in-depth discussion. i wish there was an equivalent of inside the actors studio for musicians, would love to see dan and pat on something like that. lolz at Dan's comments regarding recording analogue and the Foos. Rather pleased actually, FF's (and others) make quite a big deal of this sorta a thing as if they are super cool and "real", whilst Dan is like; 'Meh, business as usual' ^_^ Posted 7 months ago #

i like those interviewers, they ask better questions than most "so whats it like working with fergie?!" yet they still have plenty of banter. granted most of it is daft banter but you know what at no point did i want to skip through that interview. btw by the secrecy of the release date i think it will be dropping pre new year. i think they have a suprise of some sort in store. also dan looks tired haha! take a break man, have sexy time with your psychotic woman and then come blow our balls off live in the new year "When the sweats dried in, It smells like Rock n Roll" Posted 7 months ago #

Great interview there with Dan. Boy...does he look tired with those dark circles around his eyes. He's a busy busy man.Very cool that the Dr Jonh record is done. Can't wait to hear it. The production/sound will hopefully be a lot better then his last bunch of records since Dans producing it. Posted 7 months ago #

I seriously hope there is some surprise in store. I'm getting so impatient waiting for the new album. On a random note, I just saw an article with Ralph Carney (Patrick's uncle who is a jazz musician) that has one line mentioning that he has a project in the works with Patrick. I'm super curious what that would be... Posted 7 months ago #

ah, its been too long. great interviews i thought overall. you can tell pat is hedging a little, not wanting to say he follows nancy grace just to rip on her or same with behtany frankel...but while the old (younger) pat would have said i follow them for a laugh cause they're idiots, new (more mature) pat just "uhm's" his way out...funny. and in the dan interview, did that guy on left really not know that honky tonks are places not people....i think dan was shocked. well...the look of the cake, it ain't, it ain't always the taste Posted 7 months ago #
