The show was really unbelievable as they always are. To start, jessica lea mayfield was really captivating. She has a sound that is so "wise beyond her years", especially live. By far and away my favorite opening act I've seen at a tbk show. Its always hard to put these shows into perspective right afterwards, they all seem special, but this show did have a little extra umph to it. The crowd was nuts up against the rail. I saw an all out squabble, a topless female crowd surfer, and a lot of drunk assholes trying to push their way to the rail. I've never seen anything like it out of a tbk crowd before. They didn't play ohio which really surprised me. I know they hardly ever pull out songs that aren't on the usual setlist at the time but I thought it was an obvious great scenario to bust that one out. On chop and change they replayed the first verse as a third verse after the solo, super kick ass. No trust got cut out of its recent spot right before I got mine and didn't make the setlist. I guess to clear space for chop and change. Other than that it was the same songs on the setlist that they've been playing since about the first week of july. No ill be your man which was making setlists, at least before they went over seas it had been. The encore was three songs instead of the usual two. Too afraid to love you, sinister kid and til I get my way if I remember right. I snagged the pick dan threw after I got mine and some decent audio on five songs. Definitely worth the six hour road trip. Can't wait for chicago in two weeks. Posted 1 year ago #

Great, great show!! Sold out day of show I think...5000 strong and the Nautica Pavilion was ROCKIN'. Biggest show for them in this area by far and my ears were ringing more from the crowd's cheers than from the music..which was still plenty loud. And the place was hot...literally, like 85 and humid, sweatin' like crazy. I was also disappointed by the absense of OHIO, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Otherwise, awesome show start to finish. Even had a chance to say hello/congrats to Nappy after the show, when I noticed he was only a few rows in front of me right behind the sound boards. Yes, the four piece definitely works!! It was a fitting homecoming and the crowd was PUMPED. well...the look of the cake, it ain't, it ain't always the taste Posted 1 year ago #

Yeah, I think I even counted 22 at one of the early shows that was listed...KC or Denver. It was nice to have a show go 90 minutes or so, compared to the standard 70-75 I have seen before. But it still all went too fast and the adreneline was buzzin' for the rest of the night. Lots of energy!! Posted 1 year ago #
