Now THIS is good news, as per said article: "They plan to start recording their next album there in March, at a new recording studio built by Auerbach." And then: "If all goes well, a new Black Keys album could be out by the fall, Auerbach said." Sweet Posted 1 year ago #

Thanks for sharing that, Nick! "Glee" is the one area where I hoped they would follow in Kings Of Leon's footsteps (though, you know, with less controversy). Glad to see they did. Nice article. How great it would be if they'd release another record in the fall of this year. Really hope they will and I'm really anxious to find out what route they will take on the new album....can't wait. Posted 1 year ago #

Fingers crossed for the new album to come out this year. The sooner the better! "We run this shit like a Wendy's. We're open for breakfast every morning." Posted 1 year ago #

I was surprised to see TBK on the front of the Cleveland Plain Dealer today sporting their grammys. Very nice though. Too bad it took local mainstream media this long to embrace them. Better late than never i guess. Posted 1 year ago #

dusty - Kind of funny how greater Cleveland in general will talk about losing sports teams day in and day out, but they make barely a peep about all the great music that comes out of this area until someone wins a fancy statuette. Posted 1 year ago #

@april-I know. The total disrespect that TBK have gotten for so long here is mind boggling. I have tried SO fucking hard to turn SO many people that i know love music on to TBK, and have had such a hard time doing so. It's like people here WANT to be told what to listen to. They don't want to open their mind to something amazing that was right in their backyard! It wouldn't surprise me now to hear people say "Who cares about them, they left us just like so and so did and on and on." Whatever. The Keys have only played here 3 times since i first saw them. And i've tried, in vane, to get people to go to the shows with me. Always an excuse they have. So I just make sure to tell them all that they missed something REALLY amazing. Their loss.
