the bit seemed to be a contest between the keys and vamp weekend over which one was more of a sellout :|. Did anyone else see it?

just caught the rerun, i thought it was pretty funny :/ makes fun of the idea that they "sold out" with all their songs in commercials.
i think the video will be up in a day or two on colberts website. definitely worth a watch since the guys act pretty silly.

You can watch it on the site here, 3rd clip down.

And I'm re-watching it now because it cracked my shit up. Dan is a master thespian.

chuckle. good bit, if a little perverse.

I loved it. While Jon Stewart will always have my heart, Stephen Colbert still kicks ass.

As for the comedy on SNL - yawn.

No offense, magic, but duh? Colbert is a comedy show, not a bone fide news program (no matter that some... less refined viewers think Colbert is an honest-to-god right-wing politico).

I don't think we have to worry about Dan quitting music to start making movies anytime soon.

Also, I just put it together that all of these TV appearances are coinciding with the Grammy votes.

Oh yeah, SNL was horrible, but I sat through it to see Dan and Pat. I sat through David Letterman too. Gawd, what a cranky old geezer Letterman is now. I totally missed the Colbert Report though, but I grabbed it off April's post. Thanks April!
