Check out this vid of them playing at L'Olympic a couple days ago:
On the left it looks like Dan has a new amp. The cab is a Sunn cab and through "clever" sleuthing it's probably this Sunn amp he's using (it has a black strip on it) http://johnkvintageguitars.homestead.com/2000s-w-cab-800-w.jpg Wonder why he changed; maybe his Fender combo didn't have enough headroom for the cleans he wanted. I don't know for sure, but I think that is the bass player's amp. Right behind him is his Marshall head sitting on some kind of Fender combo. Either a super six or a bassman. The marshall cab is most likely behind and pointed the eff! away from them. Posted 1 year ago #

The marshall head is sitting on a fender quad reverb. Fender quad has tons of headroom, headroom is definitely not the problem. The marshall cab is off to the right, where it usually is. It's cut off from the camera view but you can see it when it pans to the right. The bass player has his usual rig behind him. I don't think the amp is the bass player's, the cab looks too small. The video quality is too low for me to make out what it is, though I don't think it looks like that Sunn amp you linked. That's not a very small bass amp. It looks taller than Dan's 8 or 6 x10 marshall cab that you can barely see in the first few seconds of the vid. It could be the keyboard amp, but I don't see another amp that could be a bass amp. Am I missing it? Oh well, I guess it isn't that important. Posted 1 year ago #
