dusty reeds Black Keys Pimp Joined: Sep '09 Posts: 818 offline	Ok, we know it's coming. What changes do you see happening and/or wish for on the El Camino tour? My thoughts: 1. Drop the bass and keyboardist. They add nothing to the show. 2. Drop most of the Brothers songs, except Sinister and Howlin' 3. It's time to drop Stack Shot too. It's been on every tour, put it on the shelf, for a tour or two. 4. How about adding an acoustic encore like All you ever wanted, I cry alone, or Things ain't like they used to be. 5. Bring back Just got to be, PLEASE! 6. I LOVE Thickfreakness, however, why not make that the last song of the regular set. That way we'll be like "Fuck, they didn't open with thickfreakness, guess they ain't playin it. Then BAM!, they close out the set with it. 7. Same old thing. It's great live 8. No trust. How could that NOT be played live?!? 9. ANYTHING off Chulahoma. We've waited way too long for this! 10. Finally, mix in Jessica Lea or Nikki Wray on harmony vocals for one of the late nite performances. Would be awesome, and i'm sure WB will pick up the bill. Posted 7 months ago #

I think there is no chance in Hell of that happening, so flip the script up a bit. As dusty pointed out there are some tunes that would kick ass as a two piece from Bothers. Fuzz that Sinister Kid bass line up, and ripp it to shreds. There are some old tunes that would be cool with "the band": Brooklyn Bound, no keyboard, just throw the bass in there like it is on TBCU. Have Mercy On Me, with the bass and keys, would be sick! Older negelected two piece songs that I wish would be given a shot: I second the Just Got Be, for sure. Give Your Heart Away Hurt Like Mine Midnight In Her Eyes Leavin Trunk Do The Rump.. in particular, the way Dan plays it on TBCU. Not the standard tuning version I seen a few clips of on YouTube.
