I'm referring to both of the songs, not the albums.

Don't get me killed = Keep it hid

I think that the moan is more easily heard. But in "don't get me killed" the lines 'don't get me killed' and 'keep it hid' match up perfectly in the songs

thoughts?

You play bass? Whats up?

Re: Don't get me killed. They're similar, but neither really has that unique a singing structure to it, I think you could compare them to a lot of bluesy songs. Cool song though.
I always thought that Keep It Hid sounded like a slower version of Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz (the backbeat, rhythm and bass, at least):

The group (TBCU/The Moan era) did alot of reworkings of tunes by Fred McDowell..Rl..Junior..T-Model.
On the other tune I def do hear similarities but not a definite rip off. IT is a pretty simplistic song form that many groups have recorded.
This kind of thing has been done a bunch of times
