denied again...I'd love to see Hacienda and the Greenhornes (again), but Chicago and St. Louis are too far to travel in that time of year. I think getting to Chicago for the NYD shows was a total fluke. C'mon...if no Omaha show, atleast get to Lawrence, KS...pleeease! Posted 1 year ago #

@cmc I just posted about this tour too. you beat me to the punch but I didnt see it here in the off topic forum. i was out of town for a week, i was glad it wasn't sold out yet when i finally had a chance to buy tix. got 2 for Chicago and can't wait. the Double Door is less than a mile from my apt and it's such a small intimate venue... that show is going to be a blast. Not the best sound quality but I still love it. Also, bbgill that's sweet you may be opening for them. How is the show supposed to work? Is hacienda technically "opening" for the greenhornes by playing a shorter set or are they both playing full sets (I wish) ?

Sweet vid. Those boys came to Louisville last year with Black Joe Lewis and my band guys and me got to hang out with all of them for a while. That is until all these girls kept feeding them KY bourbon(he wrote about it in his blog). I have no idea what the set up will be for that show. I'll find out when the venue tells me if we're opening or not. Some Nashville band was going to open but apparently they completely lied and said that Jack Lawrence wanted them to open. So now we're waiting on Greenhornes mgmt to approve us. Posted 1 year ago #

Any news on this? Are you in fact opening for the biggest small venue tour of 2010? What kind of a band pretends to get recc'd by Little Jack? Did they forget he was in The Greenhornes? And wouldn't the fact that he doesn't know them ruin their whole story once they showed up to play? Bad idea, but I guess I would try anything to get booked with TGH so I can't blame them too much. Some Nashville band that will remain nameless, they're a bunch of posers. I'm dying to get these show as well, but I wouldn't be that shady about it. Actually, we're still waiting to hear the confirmation. The Greenhorne's mgmt is picking a local act to open and they're deciding between us and one other band. Probably the same band that we'll be up against in this big Hard Rock Battle of the Bands next week. So tensions are very high. We want this show like no other. Those two bands are balls deep in awesomeness, as well as Dan A/Jack W. connections. Regardless, I'm just thrilled that these dude's mgmt are listening to our music at all, but I think we're 3 times a better fit than the other band we're up against (they shall also remain nameless). I'll keep everyone updated. If I find out we're playing, I'm going to lose my s@#t!! Posted 1 year ago #

That's the first band that originally had the spot, the guys who lied. Greenhornes then had to decide on my band and another Louisville band. The other band got the show, and they are assholes, just a bigger name and have been around longer. Sucks bigtime Posted 1 year ago #

It's one of my least favorite local venues. Eff it. I'll still go. Seeing The Greenhornes and Hacienda together will be worth it.
