You betcher ass. Them darlins opened for Dan at his Metro show in Chicago last spring. I think it was spring. Anyways, they were fun. Hacienda better do that Wooly Bully cover! Posted 2 years ago #

I've been reading on the web that the new Hacienda album is heavier and more rockin' than their first. Sounds like touring with Dan has rubbed off ono them. And with that Wooly Bully cover... I'm dying for that new album to drop. Next best thing is to go see them live. I'll be there. Posted 2 years ago #

Judging by some of what they were playing live in Sept. it is a little heavier and using some multimeter in it. 5/4, etc. Something else that has to be mentioned is that these guys are really genuinely nice. Dante, the guitar player has always been really great with emailing and took the time to talk to me during a few of their shows. Though I don't know, I like to think that Hacienda may have influenced Dan as much as Dan did them. There are so many similarities between "Loud Is The Night" and the diffence between any TBK album and "Keep It Hid." All purely speculative, but that is what I am going with. Posted 2 years ago #

It's true they are very nice guys. Dante is the man alright. I've run into him in the bathroom after two shows. He is always down for a little conversation as jmjohnson mentioned, sharing tales of backstage and tour-related shenanigans. Posted 2 years ago #
