Whaaaaaat?! Fuck, man! That was outstanding. Obviously, your are an outstanding musician, but I also enjoyed the... "cheeky-ness" of it?! "We're gona get Tom Waits, Tom Jones, and Thom Yorke to do a duets record"- Pat Posted 4 months ago #

Great job there! But the fact that it's this "easy" to make this kind of cover of a BK song says a lot about the new record. This is "just another song". What I love about the older records is that they do not, nearly, include these type of songs, and that's what making them timeless. I don't know if it's only me but I've nearly stopped listening to El Camino by now. Great Record but it's done all it can, I won't find anything new on it... Thanks thanks thanks guys! Final fantasy lol. Maybe I oughta submit this to Nintendo? @Peter - point taken. I'm usually trolling for songs that are simple that I can fuck up in some way. But, maybe next I should target a fucked up song that I can instead dumb down - an earlier BK track? Posted 4 months ago #

Very artistic. Shows considerable ingenuity. "Who's the head bull-goose loony around here?" ~ McMurphy (Ken Kesey's OFOTCN) "Don't touch the duct tape." ~ Dan "God" Auerbach Posted 4 months ago #

Yeah, sure. do that... But my point is this is still "sister"... No doubt about that.. Doing to do the same to, lets say... "the breaks" would just kill the song.. Sure it can be done... but the song itself will be gone, or suck Posted 4 months ago #

I'm back. Something about this cover got under my skin and it took me a few moments to disccern just what it was... I think that it is not so much "Hard Rock" as it is "Synthetic Rock" if that makes sense. I still think it's artistic and shows talent but talent of a different sort than the title leads one to believe. Oh and I agree with 'Ssippi - appreciate the humor and obvious intelligence on display. Posted 4 months ago #

Hey Ben. I didn't mean offense with my post. I was trying to nail down what I was experiencing. As for "Synthetic Rock" - sorry but I didn't invent that phrase or genre; it's been around a while. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_rock As I said, I thought your production was clever and artistic. I mean that. Again, I apologize if I came across as offensive. Not my intention at all. Posted 4 months ago #

Man you've got some hardcore talent. This is professional quality stuff! Although with the more "hard rock" approach to the song, the song's emotion was lost in the process. Posted 4 months ago #
