I give a damn. But not enough to actually waste time sticking up for Pat in the virtual world. Pat seems like a pretty good dude. I met him once in Chicago, before the Lolla "aftershow" and he just started talking to me like he'd known me for years. He was telling my wife and I how nervous he was on stage at Lolla because of the huge crowds, etc. None of the stereotypical rockstar bullshit, no trying to sound cool or be someone he's not. Just a really good dude. Seems like a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy. He wears nerdy glasses just like always, and just doesn't seem to be trying to impress anyone. Just being himself. And in most of the interviews I've read/seen he's pretty fucking hilarious. So yeah, I give a damn when people start taking shots at the guy. But no, I do not wish to get involved. Nor do I think he needs our help. Pat's pretty excellent at insulting folks if he feels the need. I don't think it's all that big of a deal. Nice thought though.
