Hey I've been lurking for quite a while and thought I would join in on the conversations. I'm from Cleveland and was introduced to the Keys around the time Rubber Factory was released and have been hooked since.A friend and I actually play in a Black Keys/White Stripes cover band called Brothers. We rotate instruments in the group so I actually do the guitar and vocals for the white stripes tunes and I do the drumming and some of the vocal work for the keys stuff. It's just our way of trying to do something different as far as cover bands go and to show our respect to our two favorite bands. If you're interested you can check us out at facebook.com/brothersohio. We have some really rough recordings up there. I hope to get to know some of you guys soon. Take it easy

Thank you very much. Its definitely tough to find someone that was dedicated to learn all that material on different instruments, but luckily my best friend who I've been jamming off and on with since high school was down for it. And luckily he's just as big of a fan of both bands as I am so it was a no brainer

Thank you very much for the compliment and the link. We don't have anything on youtube yet because October 21st will actually be our first live gig and we didn't want to put videos of us just rehearsing on youtube. It would be so awesome if any of the members on hear came down, we'd boht be super stoked!

AH! I get it. Or "Piano"....Black Keys and White Stripes...get it?

Oh... you're right, that stunk. Sorry. Coffee greatly enhances my humor. I need more.

Regardless, band sounds great!

I just had time to check the Dead Leaves cover since I'm at work but I was pretty shocked at how good it is; everything is beautiful. You guys have talent! Looking forward to hearing more!

We appreciate the support and kind so much. I wish the recordings could be better, we just have the bare minimum as far as recording equipment is concerned, we just thought we needed some kind of content up there. After the first gig we will probably just stick with live videos

As far as the name goes, "Piano" is probably more creative then "Brothers" lol.We just decided on that obviously because of the Keys album title, but also because the White Stripes refer to themselves as "Brother and Sister" and since we are two dudes we would be "Brothers"
