I've always been curious about this...

Hit the City under music videos on their discography page on Wikipedia. Never heard of it before or seen it. Anyone know?

"Hit the City" is an amazing duet by Mark Lanegan and PJ Harvey... perhaps this was just a live cover or a mix up by wiki. Do yourself a favor and check out "Bubblegum" by Lanegan. q-u-a-l-i-t-y.

Maybe he's mistaking and means Meet me in the City which was also released in 2006?

Hit the city is part of a lyric from Hard Row off of Thickfreakness. (Chuck Auerbach/Dan Auerbach)

Meet me in the city is a Junior Kimbrough song, that Dan (and Pat) masterfully/tastefully/skillfully/classily covers on Chulahoma.
