I saw danelectro u2 in "Just got to be" clip. Any body knows is this guitar used in "Magic Positon" album and which song or what? I know it is very hard to say but maybe there is some special guys that can answers that :D I wanted to buy a danelectro u2 made in korea 1998 era. What do you think about that, I have got some old vintage tube amp, could i get some black keys sound without fuzz ? By the way sorry for my english

Hey! I think he used the guitar as a prob for the video but didn't necessarily record with it. I'd say "Just Got To Be" was recorded with the white Ibanez lawsuit SG, since that was the guitar he used the most in that era. But who knows, since Dan uses all kinds of weird shit.

Dano guitars are cool. They've got more of an agressive sound to them, but in a good way. With a good amp you should be able to get a good sound of it pretty easily.

I also have the U2 reissue w/ bigsby style trem. I typically play with my fuzzes cranked and I find with it I have to turn them down because I get uncontrollable feedback. Like if im not playing anything its a constant high pitch squeel. Its an okay guitar, I kinda just keep it as my beater

I think the Danos are pretty cool, and have a great and unique sound. I've heard good things about the Jerry Jones guitars, which make a take on the old dano/silvertone guitars
