thats awesome, however it worries me that they worry about chorus's, pre chorus's etc coz lets be honest it doesn't seem like they used to. ah the pot holes of fame eh! although those explanations of the songs do make me wanna hear it, however the lonely boy explanation also highlights how not to take those explanations as truth haha. if that makes sense! i hope they dont over think all their work from now on, just go back to what you used to do and what you did on brothers, it worked. play what you feel and release it. i dont want to hear songs that have been over thought and re arranged a million times purely to make them accessible.

They looked to The Ramones for inspiration? Great, I think we can expect more boring choruses, then.

I feel like they've reached a point where it's all just "extra credit" now.

They've done all that they set out to do, made a bunch of excellent albums, toured the world, made a shitload of cash... so now pretty much anything goes.

In other news, this is such a weird place. We're supposed to be their biggest fans, yet a lot of what goes on here is just bitching and nay-saying. Strange...

If you regularly hang out in a forum called The Black Keys Fan Lounge, sorry but you DO kinda worship them. And I never said you have to love everything they do, but all I've been hearing around here lately is complaints. There's a new album on the horizon and I hear... (paraphrasing)

I guess what I'm getting at is why are we here? I'll start. I'm here for news and info about one of my favorite bands.
