Great funny interview. Terry Gross gets them completely. Sorry I can't post a link, but you can hear it on line.

Fresh Air, wow! That's a good gig.

The audio will be posted here after 5 PM EST. Can't wait to hear it.

Internet ninja! I like that!

Just finished listening to the interview, and, man, that made me happy. Patrick tells the best stories.

I appreciate that Terry gave them a chance to explain the tour cancellation. Surprised that she didn't get the Gary Glitter connection on Howlin' - thought she was hipper than that.

Great stuff!! i wanna hear more stories about that first tour...or any little snippet stories like that...always funny when patrick is telling tidbits and dan is trying not to crack up too much beside him.

well...the look of the cake, it ain't, it ain't always the taste

pretty good interview, tbh i think songs in commercials is only a big deal in USA, i doubt anyone in UK would have gone oh they're selling out, unless all of sudden they were on loads and loads of commercials. As far as i'm concerned if a band has their songs in films then thats just awesome. and any band should go for putting a tune in films, definitely not selling out doing that as both are art forms and usually if theirs good music in a film i like the film more. the only one to go against that is twilight, awesome soundtrack, but i just hate the films lol.

I guess my work computer is ill equipped and sucks. I can't listen to the interview. Ah well, should probably be working anyhow. It'll have to wait until I get home. The article was a pretty decent read though. Patrick does tell awesome stories.

finally got round to listening to this.
i hope one day Pat will be a radio host playing obscure tracks and filling with observations delivered in his droll style
good to hear them state the reasons for the tour cancellation too

Pat DJ'd on the roof of The Lime Spider before a TBK show (Square Records party?) and I didn't recognize one thing he played. Unfortunately he didn't say anything.
