I just heard this morning from the amazing Jason Bentley that Dan and Patrick are finally going to do a session for the fantastic Morning Becomes Eclectic in December. You should definitely check out their past shows -- quite good.

Jason has been talking about the Keys for a very long time, and KCRW was the presenter for their two LA shows at the Palladium. At one point Jason played at least BK song every day during his one of his sets. You can stream live online (the link is usually on the main page, day of show) and I'm just so excited that they're finally doing this.

I am an avid listener and subscriber and hoping there is SOME way to score tickets to be an in-studio audience or something. But anyway, this makes me happy that they're adding more US shows in December. I wonder what will be next... =]

They've played on that show at least once before.

Yeah, very cool. It looks like TBK's been on twice before and Dan's been on once with his solo stuff. Checkin' it out now.

Yeah, Brucini's awesome post has the show! Awesome!

Here's Dan's show:

There's also footage from the show.

Also a very cool interview / show from July 2003 KCRW Morning Becomes Eclectic with Nic Harcourt!

Glad they're coming back after a long while! =]

That '03 show was my introduction to the Keys.

I would like to go ahead and agree with the fact that dan's set sounds amazing. Money and trouble just makes me wish I had the MP3. I guess I am just gonna have to keep listening to the KCRW version. No big deal, I do what needs to be done. On a side note, I haven't heard a live version of the KIH tracks that sound poor. More respect to Dan and the fast five, I suppose.
