My plan was to quietly drop out, but I keep getting PMs that I haven't responded to, and rather than appearing rude, I thought I'd explain. I find that I can't reconcile being a TBK fan on this forum, and a TBK dad. I've reached a point that most of your concerns are not my concerns, and rather than try and change anybody's mind, I'd rather bow out. Brucini has asked that I don't cancel my membership from the forum, as that would erase all of my previous posts; so although my name will still be on the roster, it will be in name only.
I'll check in to see what you knuckleheads are up to, but this is my last post. Thanks!!

That's a shame nappy, everyone has their own opinions and daft ideas here. it's not your job to correct them all. But i understand how there maybe a conflict interest/overbearing sense that we all think we know your son. It would be nice to hear from you every now and then as you have made some great points along with starting some awesome debating threads. All i can say is i hope we haven't driven you away.

Good luck to you and thanks for your input over the years, we all greatly appreciate it.

Really nappy? You're not gonna go out with a bang by starting some highly controversial thread like God Hates Fags or something? I am disappoint.

Thanks for all the wisdom nuggets.

I've often wondered how you managed. Thanks for being here as long as you were.

Completely understandable. Thanks for all that you've done here, and thank you for creating and raising one of rock n roll's finest. We will miss you good sir.

It was great while it lasted. Your insights and explanations of certain items past and present will be sorely missed. Hope to see you out and about once in a while. Take care.

Was that your last post or will there be a subsequent post that will be your last after we're all done saying bye?

"I've reached a point that most of your concerns are not my concerns, and rather than try and change anybody's mind" It's true sometimes things get out of hand. Maybe you could write for the site, the music means a whole lot to people and you have good information. for example a short video you posted about a jeans company that had some great songs on it, I doubt we'd have ever heard of it. Things like that have been great. thanks a lot for that.

It's really a shame to see you go. You went out of your way to do things for the fans that I'd doubt any other band dad has done

I was already missing you, Mr. A, wondering where you were. Thanks for hanging around while you could.

It was nice to hear some of your views. Not as Dans father but as a reasonably level headed person. I wish you all the best in all your endeavours and tip my hat to you.

Adieu sir, it's been awesome having you on the forum. I'll never forget the Everyday Wrangeler thread.
