it is not what I was expecting. It makes me very excited to hear the other tracks on the album. Posted 2 years ago #

I'll agree with Carp, not what I was expecting. Sounds great though, this album is going to be unbelievable... "We run this shit like a Wendy's. We're open for breakfast every morning." Posted 2 years ago #

Ok, I guess I'm an idiot because I can only see/hear tighten up at that link. Maybe they took down howlin for you and pulled the old switcheroo per WarnerBros/Nonesuch and their lawyers? Or am I missing something? Do I need to sift through the entire 1.5 hour podcast to find Howlin For You or was there supposed to be a link on the page? The only TBK link I see on the page is for Tighten Up. Please explain to those of us who are approaching 30 and can longer understand this interwebs. PS I thought links were no longer allowed, per WB/Nonesuch. No? PPS things are rarely what you expect them to be. Unless you have ESP. =P Posted 2 years ago #

MirbyGnits, I had the same problem at first. On NPR's page, Click on "Listen to the Story" link for the program All Things Considered and Howlin for You plays within the first 2 minutes of the radio recording, so you won't have to sift through an hour and a half of blabber to listen to the song. Unfortunately, we don't get to hear the song in full, but we do get a decent preview of its sound, which is very different. Brothers is going to be a very diverse, multi-genre album. I was able to click on a link about an hour ago with only the song, and the full song. Posted 2 years ago #

What the fuck? Those guys are dicks. and by those guys I mean whomever is responsible for monitoring the internet and removing all the good shit. Grrrrr. No one is safe from WB/Nonesuch. Not even NPR. Posted 2 years ago #

Dammit, I wanted to hear the full song. O well, at least I know what it's like. People can still preview it on the radio broadcast, but with morons talking over the track. Posted 2 years ago #
