I just read this and it explains the cover of the Lonely Boy single.
"I went to take a picture of the building that the album Rubber Factory was recorded in, and this is what was there – a giant pile of bricks and a bulldozer," says Carney. "The back cover is a pile of discarded tires behind an abandoned shopping mall."
