Why is this a big deal anyways? It's really a personal matter. I'm quite certain they have both smoked marijuana. So has Bill Clinton and Michael Phelps and Obama and your parents and just about everyone else on this planet.

I smoke it each and every single day and have done so since I was 18 or so. I'm nearly 29, so yeah. Big deal. It's way better than alcohol I can promise you that. You don't hear about people smoking too much weed and beating their wife and kids, or smoking too much weed and not being able to go to work the next day or crashing their car and killing people. If you smoke too much weed, you'll eat a whole box of cookies and take a nap. It's a damn shame that it's illegal. There really is no good reason. As I said, I smoke daily and I am training for a marathon. At this point I can easily run 13+ miles without stopping. Shit, Michael Phelps won more olympic gold medals than any other olympian. Ever. It's time to cut the bullshit and legalize it.

Also, when I was in Jr High School we had a really cool assembly where the whole school went to the gym and these two guys that used to play live with Ozzy played loud-ass metal songs and they took requests and at the end they answered questions and someone asked them "have you guys ever tried any drugs?" and they were like "no we haven't". Yeah fuckin right. They toured with Ozzy but never smoked a tiny bit of dope or tried any other drugs? Doubtful. It's just that you can't admit to that shit in front of a gymnasium full of impressionable little kids. That's why I say "who cares" and "it's a personal matter"... you wouldn't expect a band that's on MTV and Warner Bros and starting to make mad loot, you wouldn't expect them to just openly say "yeah man we smoke dope! woo hoo!!"

I never said that people never crash while stoned. I said you never hear about it. Compared to drunk driving accidents, which you hear about all the time. Which, in all honesty, is probably because one is legal and therefore more accesible/available. But still...

And I never said it was totally harmless. I will say that it's less harmful than alcohol. It is easier on your body and causes less medical problems.

Marijuana has medicinal value as well. Just ask a Californian, or hell, ask TheLengths.
