That just shows how shit MTV is, i wish TBKs would just stay away from the mainstream and all the bullshit that comes with it, TBK are so much better than anything on MTV

MTV sucks.
However, I think this must happen often.
I can't remember why, but Seattle's local news made a mention of The Black Keys on their news segment and when they sent the story back to the news desk, the lame reporter said I've never heard of the black KEYS, they must be talking about The Black Eyed Peas.

I wanted to scream.

This is what made me buy that shitty album elephunk. It was the first time I had heard the Black Keys and I loved it but I didn't know who they were because everytime I saw the video it was mislabeled.
