The second "solo" gets a bit sloppy. But bare with me, Hank (if your listening), because i am not blessed with "magic fingers', or "studio ears".

Dude.. Surely you arent being serious.?. I really hope it doesnt come across that way. My reason in posting covers is becasue its the only outlet I have. I really enjoy playing the guitar, and never really get to outside of my room. It may note seem like it, because ya might think if I wanted to help others out to learn how to play a TBK song, I would just tab it out?!.. I have NO IDEA how to do that stuff. And I really am trying to learn as much Tbk as possible to share it with others. Maybe give some ideas ya know. Its not meant to be a dick measuring contest. Truely sorry if it appears that way.

Cool man. Enjoying your covers, and tones too. Its pretty uncanny though man: I figured this song out over Xmas so me and my drummer buddy could play it.....whilst I'm also getting all the bits to try build a cigar box guitar and here u you are posting and playing on your one, and smashing out Ramblin'. (Stacks on the cigarbox sounded cool as too).

Enjoying your vids.

@hudson.. Ha! Small world, aint it!.. Man I wish I could find a drummer to jam with. The ones I know are all tied up in other bands, plus the fact that I go a wife and youngin', doesnt make it easy to find to jam with anybody else.
Re: the cigar box. Do it! I didnt make mine, but I love it! Having a hard time putting it down, actually. The thing that has surprised meet the most about learning how to play one, is how well it translates to playing slide on my six strings. Its really helped out!
As far as tones go.. When it comes to TBK stuff I just turn the overdrive all the way up on my Blackheart Handsome Devil, and go with my two Way Huge pedals. The Pork Loin and Swollen Pickle... How bout you? What are you using?

And thanks for the kind words! 'Preciate it much!

Blues Junior cranked, sometimes with a Big MUff (sovtek) in front of it. Generally play a single pickup Harmony. Lots of fun.

I'm quite familiar with slide, well can bumble along and make noise, but those Cigar boxes sound and look like heaps of fun...they all are different too which is great. Sadly the link you posted is down I'm keen to a pickup in the one i build but my soldering sucks, we'll see.

Check out Moreland and Arbuckle. Great band, and the guitarist there uses one...with a bass string in the low E. Pretty interesting.

@hudsonsaul.. Sounds like you got yerself a sweet setup there, fella! I would kill for a Harmony (notice the lack of italics,. I seriously might knock someone off for of those!) ha..
Man, that sucks that the Jukejoint link is broke,. I wonder if he knows that?. I will try and check it out. He has a lot of different models, and you're right. They all play, and sound different. The pickup in mine, was made by a fella in France. He goes by JuJu. Thats about the only info i have on him. But he makes "pups" for the guy here and Ms., and ships them over. So maybe do some research on that, if you do decide to buy one, as opposed to making your own.

Just checked out the Moreland and Arbuckle stuff.. That guys cigar box is SICK!!.. i will definitely be checking those riffs out.. Im not too crazy about the guy on vocals though.. Nonetheless, great playing though!
