Has anyone heard any new songs from the new album at the gigs? If so divulge n tantalise us with what they where like lol! if not, i can't believe we havn't had a sniff of a new song or album name... the drop date is gettin close n tbh im salivating at the thought. anyways im running the risk of rambling away with no real point so i'll leave it at that and await some replies peace, hope yall are all havin a good weekend! However, the album was recorded last September or August and the I don't think the Keys would need more than a few months to mix and edit the album. I've noticed some slight changes on their myspace pics wise, could be the beginning of new promotional material. anyways im sure if anything is released it'll be on here before anywhere else lol! thanks guys! I agree it is unusual not to hear anything but surely they wouldn't arrange tour dates without planning to have the album released? Also I'm not sure but did they start their own label? If so is this going to be released on it and has caused the delay in promotion? The album sounds like a scorcher - hopefully another twist and turn on the musical journey they are taking us all on. No matter, I'm sure the music will be dandy. If there's a track on the album called "Brothers" then I'll let it slide. That's the only excuse for such a ho-hum album title. Posted 2 years ago #
StingyBrim massive fan Joined: Dec '09 Posts: 142 offline	Hmmm... if you search for "Black Keys" Brothers you get nothing but Jonas Bros results. Perhaps that's their angle? This way it's hard for people to download/steal the music because trying to search for it yields only Jonas Bros results. Not that I was trying to download the album, I was just looking for news/info. But I do download music and I have found myself in similar situations where I couldn't find what I was looking for because it was too similar to something popular. And I just gave up, gave in, and bought the album. Or maybe it's an inside joke of some sort? Or maybe Dan and Pat consider each other "brothers" since they've been through so much together? Or maybe since they went down south to record the album they... ah maybe I'll hold back on that one. Posted 2 years ago #
