I'm thinking of upgrading the P90's in my Hagstrom, and can get a good local deal on a set of Lollar's. Anyone have any experience with them, or even Lollar's in general?

Just an update for you soapbar lovers. The Lollars sound fantastic. HUGE upgrade to the stock pups. Posted 1 year ago #

The only p=90 upgrades I have ever used were Harmonic Design Z-90s. http://www.harmonicdesign.net/allpages/gibsons.html#Anchor-Redd-49575 They were really wonderful. I'm sure those Lollars are, as well. Posted 1 year ago #

Those Z-90's would sure look awfully pretty in my SG. So far, the thing I like the most about the Lollars is the clarity. Really nice chime with the volume knob rolled back, too. Even through my gained out Recto there's a good bit of clarity when barre chording. Good stuff. Posted 1 year ago #

If you want to save some scratch and get some pretty damn nice pickups, I highly recommend the Tonerider Vintage P90's ~$80 a pair, and they have nice chiming cleans, to filthy, dirty, Exile On Main Street kinda grit. Posted 1 year ago #
