Who honestly wouldn't want to hear an album made by the fictional mega-group i've just imagined?

part 1: The Black Keys (both members)
part 2: JLM (and bring her in for some true duets, not just back-up)
part 3: Hacienda (the more Villanuevo brothers, the better)

mix accordingly (if they feel the need to call in Tchad Blakely, my feelings wouldn't get hurt)

and on the side of caution: put a password on the door to the studio, and "forget" to give it to Danger Mouse (not bashing the dude, I just feel it's time they did a new album without him)

maybe add Blockhead into the mix for production work for a track or two...maybe El-P or Aesop Rock...not to rhyme, but to produce.

Surprisingly as much as they have worked together in the past and going from his blog about how much time he spends in Nashville, I'm surprised that Dante and Dan haven't put their heads together and done some stuff yet. Two king shit guitar players would be solid, with a heavy and tight rhythm section, throw in some Rhodes and/or Farfisa, and mix well.

Part 1: The Black Keys (obviously)
Part 2: Mstrkrft

TBK remixes?

I'd like to hear a new blackroc

To date: I've been a fan since early 2002 and I have attended 20 of their concerts and 2 of Dan's solo. I have also met Patrick quite a few times, but never Dan unfortunately. The Black Keys are a part of my soul.

Jeremy Schmidt from the black mountain @ the keys, Christian Bland from the Black Angels @ the guitar and Keeler from Greenhornes/Raconteurs @ the drums + Dan>Voice/Guitar: this is a supergroup!!

Now that I think about it, a straight duet album between Dan Auerbach and Jessica Lea Mayfield would probably suffice all my appetite.

The rest of the band I named would just fill out the sound, and I felt like all those people would work well together, and many of them already have!

Like I said I love hearing JLM sing back up for "Things Ain Like They Used to Be", but I think her voice is absolutely strong enough and complementary enough to Dan's for her to embrace her own verses, trading them back and forth with Dan and hopefully joining together for some awesome dual-chorus singing.

and Hokes, correct me if I'm wrong, but were you pushing for The Black Diamond Heavies to have a hand in this fictional album?

and just to be clear this is not a billboard for the members of the band to see and change their mind upon.

This was literally just a poll I put out to members of the Fan Lounge and honestly I got better responses than I could have hoped for.

At no point was I going "HEY DAN LISTEN TO ME AND CHANGE!", but there's nothing wrong with you being confused by my slightly demanding title for this thread.

Looking back on it now, I would probably change the thread title to "A mega-group I MYSELF PERSONALLY would enjoy listening to"
