sorry this took so long, just been busy doing nothing much else
the rss functionality has been fixed. bit of rogue code in a plug in. keeping track of posts via rss is an easy way to keep up to date. click on the little orange icon where the url is to have a feed of latest posts or to follow a particular topic.
also thanks to fugly for asking for a quick link to the latest post. this has now been added to the latest discussions and to any topic featured in the forums. every now will be saved an additional click. phew.
