Gold On The Ceiling. Looks like most of you called it! No word that I can find on what the B side will be.

Ok, someone help me out here. Other than an actual 45 being pressed and released for purchase , what exactly is the point of releasing a single anyway? If it's radio play then i'm really confused because the local stations have been playing GOTC for a few weeks now. Posted 4 months ago #

Maybe it'll have an unreleased song as the B side... didn't they say they recorded 13 tracks? Posted 4 months ago #

I agree with you dusty, the idea of actually releasing a single seems bizarrely quaint nowadays Posted 4 months ago #

I dont listen to FM radio, down here in "the armpit", but I would be very, VERY surprised if I turned it on and heard GOTC. Especially since I read the other day that.the local Mod/Alt rock station has now been changed to!!?......... Wait for it...... Another Christian Rock station! for a while i thought it would be "stop stop", mainly because at work, we listen to little steven's underground garage.... and they play it AT LEAST once an hour. i can hear the intro repeating in my head... "the album, 'El Camino'...the song, 'Stop Stop'... Please welcome to the underground garage stage... The Black Keys" Posted 4 months ago #

I'm well excited about the idea of another single on vinyl with something we haven't heard as the b side. Does no one else get excited about vinyls? Posted 4 months ago #

I think a lot of us get excited about vinyl. I do anyway. I'm simultaneously feeling encouraged, disgusted, excited and fearful about the possibility of a B side; track we haven't heard. But I also agree with Dusty up there re: purpose when a song is already getting airplay. Seems conflicted to me but then again I have been conflicted since the first single from El Camino was released. Posted 4 months ago #

Holy shit.. "does noone else get excited about vinyl?".. Dude.. I have a vinyl obsession that consistently gets me in "the doghouse". I cant wait for the next single to drop. If indeed, ya can actually call it. a "single". As was mentioned in the earlier posts'.. Posted 4 months ago #

Was expressed earlier, I had hoped Sister would be it, mostly cause I wanted to cover it, but also cause that and a few other tracks on the album I think are better. And yes - singles are retarded nowawadays anyway Posted 4 months ago #
