Looking good there. A little while ago ( month or two? ) I saw a 1454 with a BIN for $650.
It was in excellent condition. That would have been a nice score. True, since most sellers on ebay discovered that the H78 is Dan's main guitar prices are skyrocketing. To bad.
Even vids in the add of Dan playing his H78.

Hey guys I have a Silvertone 1454 project that is about to get started. Can you guys help recommend what to do to replace those three on/off toggle switches?

I can't find 2 way toggle switches to save my life... Especially ones with cream knobs.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The original 2 way toggles pop up sometimes on Ebay... Good luck!

not that i know of. just gotta watch eBay like a hawk now. when i started my projects, i had a hell of a time and even contacted switchcraft, but they said that based on my description of the part, it is no longer under production. i spose you could TRY using a 3 way switch as an off/on/off kinda deal, but that would probably be a LAST resort scenario.

rise in TBK popularity among the masses means that anybody with an old harmony guitar resembling Dan's models is out to sell it and get cash from fanboys like us. so you gotta keep your eyes open and your wallet full.

Hi

That's a Kay model Bigsby, used on some early 60's Red Devil and Jazz II guitars.
It looks like the original handle has been replaced.

Although this is a Harmony related question, opposed to the Silvertone, does anyone have pics of the back of Dan's h78/tg-46? I am curious what kind of tuners he's using (they are definitely not stock) and in the Rig Rundown the camera never pans up
