Tom Petty - Honey Bee (from his Wildflowers album). This song has TBK written all over it. I think they would jam on this. Any others?

Mean Mistreatin' Mama by Elmore James, Still a Fool by Muddy Waters, Been down so long by The Doors, Country Fever by The James Gang, Killing Floor or Little Miss Lover by Jimi Hendrix. I could go on for days, good topic though Stingybrim.

Little Miss Lover! Good Call. Love that tune.

And yeah CCR would be great. I'm thinking more like Sinister Purpose though. That song has TBK written all over it. Or Penthouse Pauper!

I'll say it again, Dan/Pat PLEASE cover CCR's Sinister Purpose and/or Penthouse Pauper.

Actually now that I think about it, those songs may be better for Dan & The Fast 5 to cover. Somehow, someway, I'd like to hear them done though.

Dan should do some Otis fucking Redding. Seriously. "Love Man" would be kickass. Or he could do "Cigarettes and Coffee", or whatever. I just think he would do a great job singing/jamming-on an Otis Redding tune. The Black Crowes already took a great one of his (Hard to Handle) so it's not likely we'll hear the Keys play that one.

Oh and further to my original post, "Honeybee" is already a heavy tune, especially for Tom Petty, but I'd LOVE to hear TBK jam an even FUZZIER, even MORE rockin' version.

i'd like to see them cover some Townes Van Zandt. Like they did with Wicked Messenger, i think they could a real great job with a song like "Our Mother The Mountain"

Burnin' Sky is sick. Good one. How about The Band/Bob Dylan's Tears of Rage?

1+ for Otis Fucking Redding. And something by the Band would be cool, but maybe more something like Up On Cripple Creek.

Wham bam, thank you m'am.

They should do "Chest Fever" by The Band. Or "I Shall Be Released".
