Yep, I learned of Hanni El Khatib from the Rollo & Grady blog a little while back. Amusing to me is the fact that the riff of the second song reminds me of "Thunderbird ESQ" by the Gories - one of the bands of Mr. Mick Collins, whom I'd love to see Dan collaborate with (awkward sentence is awkward).
