Anyone keep good track of what they played in what order last night in Milwaukee? My recollection is not as good as I had hoped.

You were there?!?!?! I was there IN THE PIT! After Stack Shot Billy, I screamed "Dan I LOVE you!" and he was like "I think we love you too!!" fuck yeah!!!! But I remember your touch was an encore, I was screaming it and when they started playing it the people around me all patted me on the shoulder...lol little do they know I've been to enough TBK concerts to know that they almost always leave Your Touch as the last encore song It was really nice though...wasted $30 on beer instead of a tour shirt...but still. I felt that some of the fans weren't lively though...the people around me paid good money for pit tickets yet only knew the lyrics to Brothers' songs...especially the mainstream tighten-up. Chicago def. has better BK fans...I wish they'd come back to Lollapalooza. Oh well, it was worth the trip from Chicago. But yeah, they got "I got Mine" perfectly....the end was crazy...however I personally thought Cage the Elephant sucked...I left the stadium for that one... To date: I've been a fan since early 2002 and I have attended 20 of their concerts and 2 of Dan's solo. I have also met Patrick quite a few times, but never Dan unfortunately. The Black Keys are a part of my soul. Posted 10 months ago #

Was there, setlist was almost identical to the other shows they played on that tour. Thickfreakness Encore: I wasn't in the pit sadly. Honestly I think as far as TBK shows go this wasn't one of the better ones I've been to. Though I blame that mostly on the fact that I had a shitty view. That and the set was short and skewed a bit too heavily towards brothers in my opinion. It was by no means bad, I've just been to other shows that were better. Pat looked about ready to pass out by the end though. I kinda liked that they had those screens and I hope that footage gets put online. It would be a huge waste for an entire show to be taped and then not shown o people who weren't actually there. Also, being a short guy (5'3) people who stand in seated venues are fucking assholes, so are people that wear hats. And had I known security was just gonna pass me over cuz I was in a wheelchair I would have brought some goddamn weed. Posted 10 months ago #

I was there! I agree about Cage the Elephant, I was not impressed. Florence and the Machine were outstanding though! As for the Keys, I agree I Got Mine was the best of the night. In the end I left feeling a little disappointed. Disappointed that they couldn't play another hour that is, I wanted more... Any way I think I was able to piece the set list together: 1. Thick Let me know if anyone thinks I got it wrong. Posted 10 months ago #

Did you notice how Dan played all his songs perfectly only on his Harmony H78 and Ibanez? He didn't use anything else I believe... he used the Ibanez for all the new songs... Posted 10 months ago #

He used the harmony stratotone h47 for stack and busted, the h78 for the pre-brothers material, and a mix of his supro val trol and that other guitar( I don't think it was an Ibanez)for the brothers stuff. Posted 10 months ago #

Appreciate the sharing. Very much looking forward to the show in NY (only 5 days!). Not at all surprised to hear the reviews of Cage The Elephant. I'd swap Florence and The Machine for Nicole Atkins but don't care for either of them really. Oh well at least I get to go. Had a close call and almost missed the show. Thanks for sharing your experiences and the set list. Cage sucked - no surprise and Flo was awesome - her voice can carry anywhere! And she really gets the crowd into it. Although nothing compares to seeing Dan and Pat get their groove on. So, really - where would we find it on-line? Posted 10 months ago #
