Wow. Ironic. Just yesterday the wife and i were discussing how so many TBK songs would sound more complete live if a rhythm guitarist were brought on. I think Dante' from Hacienda would fill the need just fine, as would Rene' on bass. Shoulda had Hacienda open for them in the US.

I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and blame the mix.

What a horrible crowd! Barely anybody getting into the music. I'm not into the new album, but I'd think if you paid to see them, you'd better get into it!

I think Money Maker is going to be one of the most popular songs performed live. It's one of the best on the album, IMHO.

I don't mind it. I wouldn't mind hearing some, not all, older songs with a rhythm guitar and bass in it. I'll finally get to hear the lengths live, which would make me cry and be happy at the same time.

Not that much of a fan of them having two guitarists live. But id be happier if they didnt still portray themselves as a two piece having the other musicians hidden in shadows. Just come out witht the whole band blazing up front n centre throughout or stick to the brothers style gigs where they make snippit appearances for a few numbers.

Oooooor just play some Chulahoma tracks

But you know, when the ammegedon comes, and thy pile up the bodies...I will be in the cool pile and many of you will be in the "suck" pile. That's it.

They had a rhythm guitar for a track on their record release show too. I agree that they should just stop the facade and give the other two members a proper place on the stage.

They're treating the other two like a nerdy kid in school that you grew up with but were embarrassed to acknowledge in public.

Jesus...they've been overdubbing since the start...

Once you get over that fact and then, over yourselves, all the rest makes sense.

@apollos.. The fact that they have been overdubbing in the studio/pats' basement, has absolutely NOTHING to do with them having a rhythm guitar player live. It hasnt been done. Ever. The fact that some people may be surprised by this has NOTHING to do with self-obsession.

lol or treating them like the kids that were super bad at sports and throwing them in as goalkeeper or getting picked last.

@mr.ssippi - Correct, thanks.

WHat are the setlists like these now then?...I caught some of that stream about a month ago and it was all Brothers & El Camino. Is that still the case? .... off topic: El Camino continues to grow on me, in the midst of a sunny road trip and its getting spun a fair deal.
