Best live show I have ever seen. Best thing I have ever heard/seen. Here's my FB post, "The Black Keys live show was to put in best terms, breathtaking, no, FACE MELTING. MY FACE WAS MELTED AFTER THAT SHOW. The Black Keys put on the best live show and are the best in the biz. Go see their show before you die, sing to every song, move around and enjoy yourself at the show, that's what they would want you to do. I loved every moment of that show. Probably the most happy I have ever been in my life." Posted 1 year ago #

Awesome show. Was really worried they wouldn't play that long because of it being a radio show. They still played a little over an hour last night. I was walking to the beer garden area during Against Me and we looked down and saw Pat's drum kit. On it was the setlist and it only had 9 songs on it and it was mostly "Brothers" stuff. We were bummed and wondered why they'd only play 9 songs when they were headlining. Well after seeing the show we were obviously wrong, must have been from San Jose the night before. Thickfreakness is still my favorite opener by them. I also loved hearing "Act Nice and Gentle" for the first time live. Posted 1 year ago #

Did any of you guys go to the SOMA show back in September? I definitely preferred this 949 show more than the SOMA one. Way better crowd and feel to it. I only wish they played Busted, Stack Shot Billy, and The Breaks for this show as well. Two of my favorite Black Keys shows have been provided by a 949 event (Independence Jam in 09' was amazing and now this)Despite the fact that 949 has made some questionable changes (adding a talk show and firing Michael Halloran who was the voice of alternative radio music for 20 years)they have been and still are big supporters of the Black Keys. Dan gave a shout out by saying how 949 was one of the first radio stations to play their music. Posted 1 year ago #
