I thought I would share some TBK live photos from early on. This was from a small club show in Omaha in March of 2003. I was there on the advice from some very cool friends as I had never really heard of them before.

Seeing TBK like that, just the 2 of them, so up-close and powerful, I was of course quite blown away. I can easily say it was as close as I will ever come to feeling what those who witnessed Hendrix playing live in 1966 London must have felt. Complete awe.

I love how it's nothing fancy at all. House lighting, a 3-piece mismatch drum kit, 1 cymbal and hats, one guitar, a combo amp and a couple of pedals.

Hey, was this at Sokol Underground?? Hell, I was probably there, I know I went to quite a few shows there around that time...I'll feel pretty ridiculous if I saw TBK and totally forgot that I did...then again I'm pretty sure I'd remember them if I did see them then

It's the bowl-cut hairstyle that gets me.

Pat, on the other hand, is looking pretty fine there.

I AM INCINERATOR: Yes indeed they were shot at Sokol Underground and that sucks if you can't remember it. It was amazing.

That's awesome, I probably was not at the show if I can't remember it. It's weird though because I remember being at Sokol, either the underground or the auditorium like every weekend back in those days...back when Omaha was the "hot shit music spot".

It's kind of surprising. It was mostly a fashionable "indie rock" thing. It did get some decent shows here for a while. Now it seems a lot of cool shows are in Iowa or Kansas/MO.

Ha! No, the current haircut is much less "high school guidance counselor".
