What's your favorite guitar to get that Auerbach Sound? Hell while we're at it what's your setup look like? I've yet to find the perfect guitar, but what works for me right now is US reverend Rocco into Hoof Fuzz into Lovepedal Kalamazoo into a Fender deluxe reverb.

It is a wealth of info! But having posted that a lot of people have left and new people are here and I reckon a lot of rig's will have changed!

Mine hasn't much,

Classic vibe tele
into a peavey delta blues amp. Thats it no pedals no fucking about! Nice Keef style setup :-p

Washburn flint hill acoustic ( my go to guitar. )

and my beat the fucking hell out of it resonator.

All low to mid price range stuff. Pretty damn good sounds I get for not much money.

American Strat with Loller pre-CBS Blackface pups into digitech Whammy (I use the whammy for Funk #49 type octave/harmony effects) into a Way Huge Pork Loin into Way Huge Swollen Picklel that runs through a Blackheart Handsome Devil combo. I also have an old Fender Champ I've been using..

I have a bunch of guitars but think most Dan tones can be achieved with my pedal board and a 5 or 10 watt valve amp. I take the amp to just overdriven the let rip with the effects. my board goes from guitar to input on mxr distortion III - big muff usa - danelectro french toast - unknown black distortion - holy grail nano - mxr Carbon Copy delay - pitch black tuner - amp. Then the rest is in the fingers. eg.

Get the Video Plugins

all the weekend rockstars in the toilets practicing their lines
