Will they ever cover another Kimbrough song at all? Maybe Chulahoma was the big finale?

I'd really like to hear one of the following...

Done Got Old
-or-
I Feel Good, Little Girl

Both can be found on his Do The Rump! album, and possibly elsewhere.

So which Junior song would you like to hear them cover next? Doesn't have to be a Jr Kimbrough song. Any song at all. ???

IMO, i think they might be done covering blues songs because their tired of people pigeon-holding them as they so often have said.

I definitely agree. Especially if you look at the songs Dan covered on his solo tour..alot of obscure 60s rock tunes

I strongly disagree with you if you think TBK will never do another blues tune.

I know it's not really blues, but Buddy Holly- Not Fade Away...I imagine this may be more suited for a solo Dan cover, maybe? Hell, anything with the "Bo Diddley" beat would be awesome to me.

I think it would be cool if they did "Hard Time Killin Floor Blues" by Skip James. I bet they would put a cool spin on that one. Especially if they modified the tempo a bit and put just a little fuzz on it.

I'm Skip James....bitch! (Don't ask, I don't know why...)

@ mirby they changed the genre on their facebook page from blues rock to rock and roll. in the last few years the done more and more to distance themselves from blues music. hell, they haven't had a blues cover on their albums since rubber factory. i would love to hear one, but i think dan and pat are tired of being pigeon holed. saying that, i want to quote waylon jennings,"I've always felt that blues, rock roll, and country are just a beat apart."
