I mean, at this point, that's just like calling your song "Led Zeppelin" or "Black Sabbath" or something. Why would you do that? Someone has clearly been studying TBK very hard and narrowing it down to a few points. Heavy drums fuzzy guitar. The "solo" riffs are similar too. Very lame song. Dudes voice is shiiiiit too. I have a headache now. Posted 12 months ago #

I think from listening to a few of their other songs, they've got a BlackRebelMotorCycleClub sound/feeling kinda

Nice Wutang reference Mirby. I do think its bad that they named the song Black Keys, even if their intentions weren't evil and rotten. If it was 4 years ago, and The Black Keys were relatively unknown still, I guess it wouldn't be as bad, but everyone knows them now. I didn't mind the song until about one minute into it (No pun intended), it got old fast. And it definitely sounds like a rip off of a bunch of bands I know. Posted 12 months ago #

and they're a 3 piece too. So i think they're copying BRMC. Doesn't change the fact they've called one of their songs Black Keys though

They definitely aren't bad. I just think their problem is they aren't doing anything unique. Like I said they sound like a mash up of every other rock band out there, BRMC especially. Posted 12 months ago #
