Hello friends,

So I'm getting married in a month and am putting together a little mix cd for all the guests. I have my heart set on including the ALTERNATE version of Yearnin' (from the Big Come Up vinyl). It has to be the vinyl version - the cd version has a much faster tempo and isn't what I'm looking for. I've found downloadable live versions that are close, but not exactly right. I do not own or know anyone who lives close by who owns one of those vinyl to mp3 converter mechanisms, and cannot justify buying one for this one task. I found the version I want on Grooveshark, and apparently there is software you can download to record songs from Grooveshark, but I'm really trying to avoid all that.

What I'm hoping for is that someone from this community can help me out somehow in this endeavor.

Thank you.

Can you link to the alternate version on grooveshark? Yearnin' is one of my favorite songs and I'd be interested in hearing the alternate version.

Love that idea of giving guests a mix CD at the wedding. Glad you got it sorted. It's a beautiful song. Have a wonderful wedding!

You got me thinking of possible TBK songs being played at weddings.
'Just Couldn't Tie Me Down' and 'I'm Not The One' wouldn't be great, ha!
