Nice! Is it the one that was on ebay without the pickups and hardware? Might be tough to find three of those pickups though.

....could be.... i hope you didnt put in a bid on it. i was pretty ferocious buying this project I had just missed out on another damn fine looking 1454 project a few weeks ago.i saw this husk pop up and sunk my claws in deep. i saw that someone outbid me on the last day and i flipped out and just started jacking the price up. i thought" if i cant have this guitar, im gonna make that fucker PAY if they really want it.
i melt for triple pickup-single cutaway guitars. i do like the look of dan's harmony heath, but IMO the single cutaway 1454 looks way more badass.

Might be expensive to get three of those pickups though.

see thats what gets me. to be honest, at this point, im not overwhelmed by the tone of Dan's Harmony heath, sometimes it sounds thin, jangly and weak-almost too clean IMO. BUT, damn, those 1454 are sexy lookin!!

[^not mine^]

oh, and yeah this will most likely be the final installation in the 'Dan project guitar' line. i did the JD tele, H47, and now his silvertone 1454. the only other guitar i could possibly do is a Harmony heath or h77 or silvertone, but at the moment i dont forsee that going down anytime soon due to financial restrictions. I gotta start spending my money on real life items now

Hmmmzz...really? The "maximum"" dearmond pickups on those guitars are everything but thin and jangly sounding. I've got a H75 that has the same pickups and it sounds great.
I agree on the singlecutaway models being badass.
