see thats what gets me. to be honest, at this point, im not overwhelmed by the tone of Dan's Harmony heath, sometimes it sounds thin, jangly and weak-almost too clean IMO. BUT, damn, those 1454 are sexy lookin!!
oh, and yeah this will most likely be the final installation in the 'Dan project guitar' line. i did the JD tele, H47, and now his silvertone 1454. the only other guitar i could possibly do is a Harmony heath or h77 or silvertone, but at the moment i dont forsee that going down anytime soon due to financial restrictions. I've got a H75 that has the same pickups and it sounds great. Posted 4 months ago #

I had just missed out on another damn fine looking 1454 project a few weeks ago.i saw this husk pop up and sunk my claws in deep. i saw that someone outbid me on the last day and i flipped out and just started jacking the price up. i thought" if i cant have this guitar, im gonna make that fucker PAY if they really want it.
